PLEASE NOTE BECKSTONES COTTAGE IS CURRENTLY ON A LONG TERM LET AND NO LONGER AVAILABLE AS A HOLIDAY RENTAL
Beckstones Cottage was formerly the shepherd’s cottage and is in a wonderful position surrounded by farmland with superb views out to sea over the Duddon Estuary. Nestled snugly between the hills, it is difficult to imagine a more perfect retreat from the daily grind.
The cottage was built in the 17th century and has been completely renovated and re-decorated. It’s oak beamed kitchen has many original features, keeping the charm of a 300 year old building whilst catering for 21st century comfort. The cottage has a large garden and a path leading down to the beck which flows all year round. The sitting room has an open fire for that cosy feel in winter and patio doors to the garden for the summer.
Accommodation comprises: 1 large double, 1 small double and 1 twin bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 separate WC (downstairs), kitchen/dining, utility, sitting room with open fire (and double sofa bed). Free Wi-fi internet is available in Beckstones Cottage.
