Our holiday cottages in the Lake District are ideal accommodation whether you want an all action holiday in the Lakes or a quiet place in the country. Its an ideal base from which to explore South Cumbria and the Lake District and each cottage is beautifully decorated with a homely feel. All of our holiday cottages have log fires (or a wood burning stove) as well as full central heating and wifi internet. Pet dogs are welcome for a small extra fee of £10 per weekend or mid-week or £15 per week.
The holiday cottages are set in the beautiful unspoilt landscape overlooking the Duddon Estuary between the market towns of Ulverston and Broughton-in-Furness. If you want to take part in Lakeland activities, Coniston is 10 minutes drive, while Windermere is just 25 minutes away. Only three miles away are the remains of stone hut circles dating from the bronze age, close to a tarn where the seagulls nest in spring.
We have accommodation to suit any sized family or group. For couples Keepers cottage is perfect. For large groups of 10 – 17 Beckstones Farmhouse. The cottages can all be hired together, sleeping a maximum of 45.
All of our Lake District cottages come fully equipped with: full central heating, dishwasher, electric fan-assisted oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine and dryer. Also included in the rental price; fresh white bed linen, towels, heating and electricity. Each holiday cottage has a private garden, plenty of car parking and a barbecue. Wi-fi internet connection is available in all of the cottages.
When you arrive at your cottage the beds are already made, the fires are laid and the heating is already on, so the house will be cosy and there will be plenty of hot water.
