On the A5092 about 5 miles from Greenodd, you will drive up a long, steep hill. As you pass the top of the hill, you will see the junction for Burlington Slate Quarry on your left. Continue down the long hill to Grizebeck village. As you approach the bottom of the hill, slow down and prepare to turn right. At the bottom of the hill, you will see a sign for ‘Woodland’ on the right hand side. Turn right here, and then IMMEDIATELY turn right again onto a small tarmac lane. Continue on the lane for about half a mile. At the top of the lane you will come to some buildings. Parking is immediately on the left, and the campsite entrance is at the far end of the parking area.

Ashlack is around 30 minutes from junction 36 of the M6. If you find yourself lost, please ring us on 01229 889888 (out of hours: 07767 040857).
